Eh! Makan makan!

Orang melayu suka ajak ajak ayam. It's a way to be polite. But did we
realize that behind that act of politeness, lies a repulsive fact about
Malay people as a whole? We lie, we cheat, we say things that we don't
really mean. Eh! makan makan! but we don't really want them to eat our
food. No sireee.

I thought that is just people generally?

Hehe. And usually if we ask people to eat. It is because well.. to eat. Nah.. I can't say this is a fault for Malay. There are other faults. But this is not just served for Malay only. More like peoples in general.

Asian? Since we had been raised to be polite, but distrustful of people?

bagi kami, kami betul2 maksudkan untuk ajak org itu makan, tak tau la korang yang lain nih, ajak2 ayam je kot. tp kalo kami rasa tak nak ajak or share makanan kami, kami tak akan cakap "jemput.. jemput" or "meh makan". sebenarnya, yg penting ialah niat diri kita sendiri la kan...
